Say Goodbye to the Past By: Sara Parkin

Goodbye my past

I know this is all coming so fast

But it’s time to let go to all that has last.

Goodbye, to the past

You stood by me threw it all

You’ve picked me up you’ve made me fall

You brought me good you brought me bad

I’ve cried the tears that made me sad

You picked me up you made me strong

But you know this lasted way to long

And now I thank you much

For all the people that you will touch

Goodbye, to the past

You’ve made me laugh so hard I’d cry

I’ve cried so hard I thought I’d die

And now the futures here

Every morning it feels more near

Now I end saying this

The past will be much missed

You’ve gave me memories

You’ve gave me fears

You’ve gave me hope

You’ve brought me tears

It’s all starting and we all know

So I have to say goodbye, Please go

Family Folklore, By Sara Parkin

· Dustin got stabbed
My brother Dustin “again” was with some friends
and they were being boys. They were board and so they decided to get knives and cut card board. When they were done one of the boys they don’t know who, accidently left one of the knives in the couch and it was sticking out one of the cushions. So when my brother went to sit down the knife stabbed him right in the lower part of his back. All of them started to freak out and they didn’t know what to do. They first thought that they should pull out the knife so they did. Well what they didn’t know is that is one of the worst things to do in a situation like this. So Dustin started over bleeding and they called my dad. My dad rushed over there and I came and we rushed Dustin to the hospital. I remember holding Dustin’s hand and having his hand get colder and colder. I was worried about losing my brother. He was pale white and was losing more color in his skin as he lost more and more blood. He was bleeding so much just on the way to the hospital he used up three big towels. They were all drenched with blood. Once we got to the doctors they had to check how far down his wound was. We found out that it was like half a inch to his spine. If it would have it his spine at all he would have been paralyzed. I guess everyone gets lucky sometimes.

· Scary Horse
I went camping about two years ago with my
Uncle Martin at his friends farm. We camped out in a traler in his back yard. We stayed there for about four days. Well one day I was riding one of the horses and they guy who owned him was on with me. We were going really fast and we started to come by the camp sight. I guess the camp startled the horse because it started to buck. It was bucking harder and harder really trying to get us off. I was the first to fall off. I fell right on the ground laying flat on my back. Then the guy fell to right on my on his back. The horse soon stomped right on the mans chest. He started to gasp for air and the horse ran off. Everyone started running over to us to make sure we were okay. They hurried and helped him up and me up. The horse had broken five of his ribs. If the man hadn’t of fallen on me then the horse would of stomped on my chest and killed me. “[

· Dustin’s bike accident
Again my brother Dustin and I promise this is the
last story I have for you. Okay, well my brother and his friends were all riding bikes down this big hill and my brother Dustin was on the side walk. There was a mom pushing her baby in a stroller on the same side walk he was on. So he wasn’t just going to run into her. Before I go any future lets just say this bike was not in the best of shape that Dustin was riding. So he went to go of the side walk on the gutter part that just drops off. He hit and the front wheel of the bike came off and Dustin went front first. The hill was really big so Dustin had speed he was probably going at least twenty miles a hour. So think if you were going that fast and you fell face first what do you think would happen. From the hit being so hard the road cut up his face completely. The road tore up his face on one side. His skin was completely skinned off. He blacked out so he doesn’t remember anything that happened from when he fell to when he was on the hospital bed. His friend Eldon was the first one to get to him. The mom didn’t know what to do but just sit there. She was in such shock! So Eldon tried calling my mom. My mom was at work and so she didn’t have her phone on, and Eldon didn’t have her work number so they didn’t have any way to get a hold of her. They mom with the baby had to end up taking him to the hospital and the hospital finally got a hold of my mom. She showed up and Dustin had to end up getting about thirty stitches in his face from his nose eye and his forehead. He had factored his skull and it took him a whole year to fully recover.
