My Future By Raechel Heaton
Let me start at the beginning, I went to college after I graduated high school. I went to BYU, and studied math, science, writing, photography, and animals. I also learned how to fly a helicopter, which is really awesome to fly, especially when it is snowing. When I was 21 I went on a mission to Germany, it was so fun. I had always wanted to go to Germany, and Chris and I are planning to go their again, when the kids are older.
I met Chris at a sled dog convention. It was love at first sight, and it unfolded from there, we got married on June 21, 2018 in the Salt Lake Temple, because that is the first day of summer. We have three kids Hyrum (4), Amber (3), and Nathan (1), with more expected, some ideas for names that I have are Emma, Faith, and William.
Chris loves dogs and so do I, so we moved to Canada and from his part time job and my book, Why Not Work Hard? We bought eight dogs, named Maya, Sasha, Saphira, June, Silver, Husk, Blue, and Sky. We have now recently gotten two more named Echo and Ning (which is Chinese for peaceful or quietness). We have started a dog company, where you can buy dogs and where dogs are housed. My husband is mostly in charge of that, I am the dog musher; I have won 10 races. I have considered racing in the Iditarod but I don’t know. Did you know that in the year 2008 the prize for winning was 60,000 and a dodge ram 4 by 4 pickup? That is a lot of money even now. Maya and Ning are both my lead dogs.
A dream that I had was to become a good animal photographer. I am pretty good; I have captured some stunning photos, which include some of our dogs, a wolf, and a white fox. The thing that Chris and I love to do is take Amber and Hyrum around in the sled, they love that and they love the dogs. Last week Hyrum climbed up on Ning, and rode on her around the yard. It was so cute I got lots of pictures. I have got my whole future ahead of me; I am going to enjoy it to its fullest.

Another year passes…
“Wow! Who is she?” said my best friend. I sighed “I told you, you shouldn’t get a girlfriend on what she looks like.”. A week after I tell him this, he finds out that she has massive temper tantrums. I finally found a girl for me. I never liked girls until I got to college, even then they were not very distracting, It wasn’t until quite a wile after I left that I really noticed them. After trying a few times by just looks, I decided that wasn’t the best idea. One was dumber than a fencepost, another had five boyfriends. After awhile I found the right person for me she isn’t bad looking and she is quite smart and likes videogames, heck yeah!
I’m now thirty and feeling good I am having great life as a very rich person, I regularly donate to charity, being nice to the poor is a very good thing, It makes me happy to think I am making a big difference.

I'm now thirty years old. I own my own architect and construction business named "Different Angles". I've owned it for five years and have twenty businesses from Washington to New Mexico. The main head quarter is in Salt Lake City, Utah, and of course I am the executive owner and manager. My husband is just the co-owner. I have a wonderful husband named Aden. He owns ten Cadillac Car dealerships, two in Utah and the other in different states. We have twin boys named Collin and Joel they're four years old, and are bundles of love and joy.
Aden and I met a school through a friend. We were dating two years before we decided to get married. We got married in the Slat Lake City Temple. After we left Temple we went and had a little party with family and close friends. Our wedding colors were white and yellow.
When I was twenty-five I opened my first architect business called "Different Angles". It is Just about the most exciting job that I have ever had. Who knew that designing houses would be so fun?
After we had our twin boys we decided that we wanted well needed a bigger house, and me being an architect and all I got to build my own house. I purposely had our closet built two times bigger then it was on the blue-print. We now live in Murray, Utah in my childhood neighborhood. In this beautiful house that I designed with four bedrooms, four bathroom, an office, three car garage, a imaginable kitchen, fully furnished basement, and a nice sized family oh and a nice sized master "closet". You may wonder what is in that three car garage. Well I have a 2026 SRX Cadillac Crossover (blue diamond), Aden has a CTS Cadillac.
When I am not at work or enjoying my family I like to hang out with my best friends from Jr. High School Kalo, Cami, Brittney, Michaela, Daryl, Savanna, and Theo. We like to go out and go shopping and out o lunch, but Theo is not a fan of the shopping part. I do help Theo when he has a tough angle to make. He also owns an architect business with Johnny Hummer; he also went to Jr. High School with us. But Theo and I are big competition. He and I are two of the best architects in the world, but it is friendly competition because we are best friends.
Considering the fact that my husband and I own our own business we don't really have a tight budget. That doesn't mean that we go and spend money like crazy. We have limits and bills, and bills get paid before we go and buy anything that can wait. We like to put money away for the boys for their future.
Last summer Aden and I took the boys on a Disney Cruise. They just loved all the different characters. I don’t think that they understood the relaxing part, but they did like the boat and the swimming pool. I enjoy my life and my family.
Future Fantasy-By Paige Lundeen
Life as we know it goes really fast. I never realized it until now. As I’m sitting here thinking of what I’m going to write about it finally hits me, MY LIFE! It might not be as exciting topic to some, but to me it is some of my greatest moments. I’m 35 years old right now. I love my life amazingly. I have 4 kids, 3 boys and 1 girl. My oldest son is twelve and very athletic. His name is Hayden and the first time I looked at him I knew he was going to be fun ha-ha. My daughter is the second oldest and she is a handful. She is eight years old and likes to fight with her brothers. She is my little princess and I spoil her like crazy! Her name is Peyton Lyn and has the attitude of fifteen years old yikes! My second youngest son is the mellow one of the family. He doesn’t have an attitude, we call him snuggle bunny because he like to snuggle. Tanner is his name and I don’t know were I got it from but the moment I saw him I knew that was a perfect name for him! At 4 years old he looks up to his older brother and wants to be exactly like his big brother! My youngest of them all really doesn’t have and attitude yet because he is only 6 months old. We all decided to name him Logan! Logan is so cute. A little chubby but way cute!
My husband and I met when we were just young kids. It started off as just a little crush and ha-ha look where we are now.
He is everything I need and I don’t think I could live without him. He is amazing in everyway. Funny, smart, and very good looking, he is a business man. He is also the coach of my son Hayden’s football team and I’m very glad to say that they won the championship two years in a row. He is also the coach for baseball and basketball. I know he’ll be a great coach for Tanner and Logan’s teams when they get older. Peyton is daddy’s little girl and she uses it to best of her ability. When I say no dad says yes. Crazy how that works out, they have their daddy/daughter days and when they do I get to spend the day with the boys! My family is amazing I don’t think I could have been any better.
As for myself I got a degree from the University of Utah for teaching and taught for two years and then stopped because I was going to have kids. For my four years I spent at the “U” I played volleyball as a libero for 3 years and for my senior year I played setter. They were the best days I had at the college.
I live in South Jordan, Utah. A 5 bedroom, 4 bathroom house with plenty of space for the kids to play, along with all of that my husband gets his space in the backyard in his shop. Oh my I must have forgotten to mention what my family does for fun. With all the sports my kids do we also drag race. Hayden and Peyton both have there own car. My husband has one and I used to but I decided I didn’t want to race anymore. Ok, back on with the house. Like I said we have a shop to keep all of the cars in. My husband goes out there frequently messing with the cars and trying to make them better. I couldn’t ask for a better place to live and I absolutely love it.
Most weekends we either at a big race with our families, Hayden’s football games, or Peyton’s dance recitals. If we ever have a free weekend then it is spent doing something that doesn’t involve leaving the house. We hardly ever get those. When football and racing ends we still have dance, basketball and in the summer and spring football, it is a huge commitment but we make it work. Most people wouldn’t like the life I have but I love it.
My family has been such a big help to me over the years. My mom is always willing to watch the kids because well she only has five grandchildren with one on the way. My little sister Kaylee is married and has a two year old and is going to have a newborn here in about three months. My dad is just my dad I love him so. Ha-ha we have our disagreements on stuff but were both stubborn so it supposed to be like that.
Life as we know it goes really fast and when it ends you don’t realize it. I have lived a great life so far and I plan on living it even better.

BY THEO GOCHNOUR
Its 2023 and I am now 28 years of age. I live in Portland, Oregon with my wife Anne and my two kids Sydney and Chase. I am a famous architect that designs skyscrapers and stadiums all over the world. I went to the University of Oregon for college for 5 years. I now have a Masters degree in Engineering and I also studied drafting and design. Now I am the owner and head man to one of the biggest architect firms in the world! My co-workers include Jonny Hummer who once went to my Junior High School. We all work together happily here in Oregon. My wife is a Pediatrician and loves what she does. She gets days of a lot so she can take care of my two beautiful children Sydney(4) and Chase(2). My kids love their life and I love them.
After I finished college I could have gone back to Utah but I was flabbergasted by the miraculous Oregon beaches. I had to live here. So I was determined to build the most beautiful home on the pacific coast. I worked with my architecture firm, “Gochnour & Partners” and built a three story beach house on the Oregon coast. The first floor includes an indoor gym, a living room, and a kitchen. The second floor includes five bedrooms, one for each person and an extra if we have another kid. The third floor is like a basement. It has a lounge area and a spa. Right above that not considered a floor is an indoor/outdoor pool with a retractable roof. When it was finished I did believe it was the queen of the pacific coast.
My architecture firm here in Portland has 26 different offices all around the United States. We have 1 office in Canada and one in Spain as well because of my fluent Spanish. Jonny Hummer and I co-own the business and we are intense competitors with Marcy Harris’ “Different Angles”. Her firm back in Salt Lake City is great at designing building and homes. Our business is called “Gochnour & Partners”. Headquartered here in Portland it is a great place for my business to take off.
Here in Portland there are lots of things to do. When it comes to athletics my wife and I play on a co-ed community soccer team. We have a long-term baby sitter for when we are at work and at soccer games. Even though it seems like we are gone a ton, we still spend hours of quality time with our kids. Also I sometimes participate in a legal racing league in Eugene Oregon where I originally went to school. I drive a Subaru Wrx Sti in the racing league. I am one of the best racers in the state. I have a great life so far.
Over the summer we are going to Oklahoma on vacation. It doesn’t seem like that desirable of a place to go, but I want to show my wife and kids where I went on my mission. My kids may not appreciate what I have to show to them but they will always remember our trip. I want to show them the houses I taught at and the places I went. It will be a great experience.
My life is not anything like I thought it would be. I have a beautiful wife, two kids, and a beach house on the spectacular coast of Oregon. I got a college education and now my architecture firm “Gochnour & Partners” is doing really well. My life is everything I wanted and more. Occasionally I miss Murray but I am off to bigger and better things. I am happy about my life.
Future Fantasy-by Jonny Hummer
In the year 2023 I am now the age of 29. I live in Saint George Utah because my company has a firm here. I got married 8 years ago my wife’s name Mary Hummer her maiden name is Smith. I have 3 kids 2 boys and 1 girl. There names are Bobby, Mat and Samantha, her nickname is Sam. Bobby is 2 Mat just turned 4 then Samantha is our oldest she is 5 1/2years old. I am very proud to say when I was younger I went to my dream college and my dream job. I went to BYU for 5 years and now am an architect! So now I work all of the weekdays. Which I am very glad I don’t work Saturdays. My wife Mary is a Lawyer. I had a job at a mall and she worked in a store just across the hall and we met! So as I said before we have been married happily for 8 happy years!!
Today my work for dealing with playing the clarinet paid off. I play every now and then at a concert hall. And it is great I get paid for something I just love to do. So now Mat and Sam now play instruments and I am helping them. They both play the clarinet like me. One thing I like about her she plays 4 different instruments the piano, clarinet, violin, and guitar. So we are teaching our kids to learn instruments and how much fun it is. Even though they are learning these instruments at a very young age this will help them in life. They do say if you play an instrument you do better in school.
Not only do my kids play instruments. But they all play a sport my 2 boys play baseball which came down from me. Then my one girl plays soccer which she got from Mary. So it is hard to get to all the games but some how I always make it to them. I do have to say that going to all these games are great I love seeing my kids playing sports.
For my mission I went to Germany. Which is where I have always wanted to go on my mission. Which I think is cool because just like Tyson (my brother) I got to go exactly where I wanted to go. Unluckily my little brother Preston did not go where he wanted in fact one of the few places he did not want to go Spain. But like all the missionaries he came back happy and with great memories. At Germany I had a great time! Now I am very glad I took those 2 years of German in Junior High. Because man did they help me on this mission!
Well just like I have dreaming for as long as I can remember I got my dream job the job architect! Then also my wife Mary also got her dream job. She is a lawyer and is really good at her job. So with both of those well paying jobs we are in a great financial place. Our house is not a big one but then again you cannot really call it small our just a regular sized house. So it is between the size of a large house and just a normal one. In our house we have 4 rooms all the 2 boys share a room but Samantha does not. The boys get mad at me for letting her have her own room but she gets her own. Of course 1 of the rooms is mine and my wife’s then. Then of course the guest room which as you can guess our guest staying while they with us.
Theo who is an old friend of mine in Junior High now own a business together. Even though he lives in Oregon but we still own Gochnour and Hummer is our business which we do architecture. Theo and I together have designed skyscrapers all around the world and stadiums too. We have 26 offices in the United States. Then we have 2 out of the U.S. one in Canada one in England. We are slowly expanding in our company.

Future Fantasy By: Danielle Johnson
By: Danielle Johnson
It’s the year 2025, now I’m at the age of 30. I have one little girl named Grace and I’m married to a wonderful man named Eric Jones. Yes, that’s right I’m Danielle Jones now. It was hard to get used to at first but I got used to it and actually started to like it. We got married on May fifth of 2019. The reason we chose that date was because it was his grandmother Jackie’s birthday. He was extremely close to her and she basically raised him herself. We said our vows in Puerto Vallarta, Mexico on the beach in front of Maria Cortez. Maria Cortez is a B&B that I used to go to when I was younger. They didn’t allow any kids except for me. In November of 2008 my mom, nana, and I stayed there for Thanksgiving. For the reception we went inside Maria Cortez and had a cocktail party in the living room. There were people dancing and singing and having little sandwiches. It was the most fun I’ve had in a long time. I still look back on that day, it was my second favorite day of my life, the first being the birth of my daughter Grace Elaine Jones.
It was June 23, 2020 the same day as when my cousin Parker was born. She was the most beautiful person in the world, the first second I saw her I fell in love. Ever since I was a teenager I liked the name Grace, why I do not know. It just struck me as a pretty name and when I saw Grace, it just fit perfectly. Her middle name, Elaine, was chosen because that is my mother’s name. I wanted to have her name incorporated some how and that’s how it worked out. I think it’s the most beautiful name in the world. Now Grace is already five years old, it feels like the time has gone by so fast. It feels like yesterday she was only a month old. For her first birthday party it was horse theme, we rented ponies and had pony rides set up in our own backyard! All the kids were having so much fun some stayed and had a sleep over with Grace. For her first Halloween she wore the same costume I wore for my very first Halloween, a panda bear. It was the cutest thing in the world, my mom was so happy because she made it for me 29 years ago. It's hard to think that it has been 29 whole years since I was a baby and now I have a baby myself.
My husband of six years, Eric Jones, is a detective for the special victims unit. Although some days he's not home until late at night, he finds some way to make it up to Grace and I. He's 31 years old and has a degree in law. The college he attended was Harvard University, and I attended Princeton University. How we met is a real fantasy, my friend Courtney had a friend that she wanted to line me up with, and that friend of hers happened to be Eric. After 2 and a half years of dating he finally proposed, it was the most romantic thing in the world. He took me on a surprise trip to Paris, blindfolded, and took me to the arch de triumph. He took off my blindfold and voila, he got down on his knee and popped the question. It was the most romantic thing in the world, I will never forget the feeling of my heart skip a beat.
He was born and raised in Beverly Hills California and his mother was a famous actress during her time. Eric doesn't like me to mention her name to anyone, but all I'll say is that I loved her work when I was younger. His father was a popular singer and songwriter for many popular music artists. Now both his mother and father are retired, since they both have enough money for 3 generations to live on. You might think I married him for his money and not for love, but I genuinely love him to high heavens. He is the kindest ,sweetest, and funniest man you'll ever meet in your entire life.
Before Grace I was a writer for people magazine and traveled all around the world. Although I am a mother, I'm still writing for my own pleasure. I've started writing a teen comedy book, when I was in my teens I enjoyed books of this genre. I work on it everyday for an hour while Grace takes her nap at about noon when it's completely silent.
We have more than one child, well we have 3 hairy children. Don't be alarmed, I'm talking about 3 dogs. We have a standard Poodle named Molly, a Brussels Griffon named Russell, and a Maltese named Benny. All of them are part of our family and there just like my family. Oops, Grace woke up, I have to leave you for now, but I'll be back soon
My future fantasy!

Future Fantasy by Orenda Williams
In twenty five years, I’ll be working on designing a website for a large company, drinking coffee to try and finish the huge project by the end of the week. My profession will be computer and web design. My work is famous and many people try to get me to do commissions. My yearly income is steady and high enough that I’m able to go to veterinary school part time, so that I can volunteer at the local humane center. One of my goals is to help animals be able to find happy homes and live longer, healthy lives. Past my work life, my hobbies are drawing, painting, sculpting, guitar, screaming, and my child.
My child is one of the most important aspects of my life. I hope to have only one or two, preferably one boy and one girl. In just a few days, I’ll be painting their faces and taking them around our neighborhood for candy. My partner works as a professional photographer or writer. We never got married, and never plan to. Him and I are both very idealistic, and hope to raise our kids the same way. Due to my job, which is very flexible as long as I can get a project done by a deadline, I am able to home school my children. I saved up through college with my partner and we built a large house five years ago. It’s a beautiful home, with a decent back yard and a small pool. It’s three floors, with a finished basement, and we put lots of hours into perfecting the blueprints and designs for it. It’s the house I always wished for.
My mom has also come to live with us. We try to get her to do activities to keep her up and about, and to keep her relaxed. I hope she’s not stressing about anything now. She brought
All through college, I tried my hardest to keep in touch with my best friends, Alexis Godfrey, Andrea Jolly, and Kelsey Haydock. Unfortunately, we did lose touch. They all went off to college and are living their lives, however I just looked all of them up and sent out e-mails and letters to them, asking to get in touch. I hope that they are all living happily now. I just want to know so badly how they are and what they are up to. Did Kelsey finally become a dentist, or did she drop out? Is Andrea living as a beautician or professional cook? Has Alexis finally found the guy for her? Is she married?
My life isn’t perfect, but it’s better then I believed it would be.

Future Fantasy By Parker Brock
I married a beautiful girl named Madie Bryant. She’s very beautiful and she loves the area we are living on. She works for a bank and loves her job. Or that’s what she tells me. We met at a friend’s barbeque. And I know he set me up. We started to talk and then we decided to meet again at Café Rio. We talked for over an hour before we noticed the time. After that we met every other day for lunch or dinner. Then after about 3 months I pop the question. And she said she was out of breath. Then she said “yes!” We got married on May 23, 2017 in the Jordan River Temple.
We have one boy named Ely and a girl on the way. We have a few names in mind. Like Emily or Kelsie. We had Ely about 2 years ago. He’s the happiest little boy you could ever meet. He loves camping and loves to go and play sports. He thinks he can beat his cousins at anything. He reminds me a little of my brother. I still love him no matter what he does. He’s just too cute.
We always go to visit the family back in the valley as often as we can. They love when we come to visit because they don’t see us much. So it is nice to see people when you don’t see them that often.
We are planning on building a home in Midway this summer and hope to be finished be the end of September. The home is going to be about 3,900 sq. ft. So it’s going to be big enough to have the whole family over. My neighbors all say they are going to miss having my family around. So that made me feel good to know they care for us.
I’m now starting a project on building a new store in the Murray area sometime next year. So our family is doing just fine. I hope you know you will find just the person for you no matter who you are. Just remember that.

It’s amazing that so much time has passed since high school. We were wild and spirited. No one could tear us down. How has life been recently? It’s strange to think we haven’t seen each other in ten years. All throughout junior high and high school we were inseparable. Where did you end up going to college? Are you married? Do you have any kids? Well since it has been so long since we last spoke ill give you an overview of what life has been like so far.
I am currently enrolled at Willamette University College of Law and have been for almost 3 years, its great, and I also want to take some classes to become a social worker. I met the man of my dreams in March of 2018. His name is Oly Grey, he is from Australia. He is the most kind hearted, sweet, and of course good looking man ever. He attends law school as well at Willamette. His family is great; they are so open and sweet. He proposed in December and we are going to have a nice fall wedding at the Zenith Vineyards in Salem. We haven’t set a date yet but we are thinking sometime around August 27th. I have been thinking of some color schemes and I think teal and red would be great. The contrast is beautiful. We really need to go to dinner or something soon. I would like for you to help me choose my cake, invitations, and dress. Oh and if its not to much of a hassle I would like you to be my maid of honor, Which reminds me I need you to help me choose brides maid’s dresses. I am so excited about the wedding it’s going to be smashing.
I have another really big surprise: I’m pregnant! We found out last week. We are so excited, it was perfect timing. We’ve been thinking of some names; we are thinking Real for a girl or Eli for a boy. What do you think? I’ll be sure to give you a call for my first doctor’s appointment, and of course when we find out the sex of the child. We bought a house last month its gorgeous it’s like my dream house, its perfect four bedrooms three bathrooms, a balcony that overlooks the ocean, and huge stained glass windows. I currently work at the Strange-land Winery but I’ll be graduating from Willamette in about two years, and I already have a job set up with Saalfeld Griggs Gorsuch Alexander & Emerick, P.C. My life is turning out to be great I have the most amazing man in my life, I’m graduating from a respected law school, and I’ll have a child soon. I never thought that my life could be so happy and peaceful, but I never was too good at foretelling the future.
We should really keep in touch I’m going to need a lot of help planning with everything coming up in the near future, and you always have been one of my best friends, which reminds me that I’ve been meaning to ask you if you’ve kept in touch with Andrea and Kelsey because I would like to ask them to be brides maid’s as well. I really miss you, and I hope your life has become the best it could be as well.

Dear Me By: Veronica Martindale
I can’t believe how far I’ve come! I can’t believe I got good grades all through my years of school! I just can’t believe that I am about to graduate college and find my dream job! I got a scholarship in high school that helped me find the best college I have ever seen! High school was so exciting for me, I was ecstatic when I found out I got a scholarship!
After I graduated from college I spent a few months living with my mom. I found my dream job after the first two months. I wanted so badly to study the human mind and I got the job I had been looking for. I’m starting on the lowest “level” but I can make my way to the top.
Now I am looking for either a condo or an apartment to start my life after college. My mom is so proud of me for accomplishing everything I wanted but she said she is going to miss me if I move out. After awhile of looking through the newspaper for an apartment I found one and so I went to look at it. The outside of the building was beautiful, to me anyways; it was made out of uneven dark sandy colored stones with “quakies” surrounding the whole building. “Quakies” are my favorite tree when the wind blows they make the most soothing sound.
I walked up to the top floor of the building to find the apartment of my dreams. I walked slowly and opened the door to find the most beautiful view of the city out one of the many windows in the apartment. Then I saw the beautiful baby blue or a sky blue paint on the walls with the tanish white carpet below my feet. Then I looked up to find the ceiling lights that are kind of like spot lights built into the ceiling. I walked slowly over to the kitchen area to find a gorgeous tan tile that went perfect with the carpet. I then saw the beautiful white cupboards that looked great with the granite counters. I walked quicker this time down the hallway to find a great office size room. I turned my body and walked a few more feet and found the bedroom with the most elegant color of red on the walls and saw the shiny wooden floor. I took a few more steps towards the bathroom and found a greenish tan color on the walls with the most beautiful bathroom of my life. (If that’s possible) Then I found myself telling the person who was selling it that I wanted it. That’s how I got my apartment after college.
After I moved in I got a promotion and now I get to have a better pay check an exciting job and I now also have a German Sheppard named Charlie and a my cats Tiger and Zoey from when I was in Jr. high. They are old but they are still the best pets around Zoey doesn’t sharpen her claws on the wall anymore so no more worries.
Love always,
Veronica
