The pics that come to my mind is good thoughts and relaxes the mind well to me they do. There are alot of good memories that come to my head and one of them is if i was danceing slow on she got her own then it lightens the mood for me and the girl im danceing with.

My favorite kind of music is Rock. I like pretty much every kind of Rock. Soft Rock, Metal, Alternative Rock, Hard Rock, and Classic Rock. I also listen to a little bit of Hip-Hop. And by a little bit, I mean Beastie Boys and Heartless by Kanye West. I generally hate Hip-Hop and can’t stand it. But the number one genre of music that I hate is Country. I can’t stand it. Every time a Country song comes on the radio, I change it as fast as I possibly can. I have many favorite songs, all by The Beatles, Metallica, and U2, but I would have to say that With or Without You by U2 is my favorite. Some of the lyrics in the song are, “See the stone set in your eyes, see the thorn twist in your side. I wait... for you. Slight of hand and twist of fate. On a bed of nails, she makes me wait. And I wait without you." I connect with the song in that my sister is so annoying, and sometimes I want to kill her, but when she’s not there, I get really bored. When I listen to the song, a picture comes to my mind of Bono, the lead singer of U2, singing about his girlfriend, and he can’t stand her but at the same time he doesn’t know what he would do without her. A memory associated with this song is the time a certain friend that I won’t name really bugged me. This might sound stupid, but the day we rotated exploratory classes, we were walking to it after third period and he asked, “You know we’re going to Ms. LaFortune’s room, right?” And I just stood there and said nothing. Sometimes he is so incredibly blatant that it drives me crazy. I just wanted to say, “Yes I freaking know we rotate today!” He does it so much and I can’t stand it. But despite all this bugginess, he’s still my friend and we hang out all the time. I listen to this song when I am relaxed because it’s really soft and soothing. It just makes me really happy. Every time I hear it, it makes me want to do a triple backflip off a house, it’s so freaking amazingly awesome.
My friend Dallin mostly likes Hard Rock and Classical music. His favorite song is I Don’t Care by Fall Out Boy, not to be confused with I Don’t Care by Apocalyptica. It makes him feel like when he argues with his friend, a.k.a. me. I keep telling him that D&D and Larping (live action role play) are really stupid, but he doesn’t care what I say. He still thinks they’re cool. Some of the lyrics in the song are, “I don’t care what you think, just as long as it’s about me. The best of us can find happiness in misery.” When he listens to it, a picture comes to his mind of a certain two people that I won't name in his scouts trying to tell him what to do and acting like they're the boss, and when they tell him to do something, he just stands there, and they say, "I'm telling you to do someting. You have to do it." But he doesn't care and he just does whatever he wants. A memory of his associated with this song is one time he was with his cousin at the park and he asked some kids if they wanted to play D&D and he was just kidding and they were saying things like, "You're so dumb, I can't believe you like D&D." And he just said, "Thanks, yeah you're right! At this point they were getting really mad, which is excactly what he wanted. He listens to this song when he's thinking about scouts and a certain person who I won't name, because he loves pissing them off and not listening to them.
Music is the most amazing thing there is in my opinion. It can make you feel happy when you're sad or said when you're happy. It can make you feel energetic and elated. And in the case of Metallica, Slipknot, and Atreyu, it can give you a headache from head banging so hard. But we all have our opinions. I like many differenty genres, from Cat Stevens to Metallica, Enya to Atreyu, The Beatles to Slipknot. And then there's Dallin, who likes songs like Don't Trust Me (incredibly horrible song, by the way) and Hallowed Be Thy Name. Everyone loves music, no matter how good their opinions are. Unless it's The Jonas Brothers, becuase it's a fact that they are the worst band in the world.

You can learn a lot about a person by knowing what kind of music they like. Some like country, some like rock, and some even like rap but all the same, music has an impact on what makes us who we are. The music genre I like the best is rock even though I like many others including pop and hip-hop. I like rock the most because it always has a great beat to it, no matter what song it is. Rock has always been a part of my life, rock is all my family really listens to and we love it. I also have brothers that play the guitar, including me. I have too many favorite songs to chose from, but the one I listen to the most would be Breed by Otep(originally by Nirvana). This song makes me feel fantastic. It’s a really energetic song but definitely rock. How it makes me feel is unexplainable but the part that makes me feel that way would be the lyrics to the chorus, whenever I hear them it makes me smile and want to laugh. Some phrases in it that I like the most are of course, the chorus. The chorus goes like this, “We can plant a house or we can build a tree, I don’t even care we don’t have to breed”. This chorus is quite unique in a funny yet serious way. When I hear this song I can just picture a man trying to plant a house and another man trying to build a tree. A memory I have of this song is whenever me and my friend listen to this song we repeat the chorus. We would say it in front of my mom and she would just stare at us like we’re insane. I listen to this song whenever I am bored or just sitting on my bed. It gets me in a mood that is all happy and ecstatic.
My partner, Chelsea Case, is almost opposite of me music wise, yet it fits her personality. Like I said music makes you, and you make the music. Chelsea likes all kinds of music but prefers hip-hop or R&B. Her favorite song is Point of No Return by Immortal Technique. The song makes her feel sad for the people who make bad choices and end up getting locked up. Some phrases she likes in this song are “it’s the point of no return; I can never go back to”. When she hears this song it makes her picture troubled people that get in trouble and go to prison. A memory or dream associated with this song it one time she wants to help people out with their problems or troubles so they don’t end up having more troubles and go to prison. Chelsea likes to listen to this song when she is bored because it makes her think about other people and their feelings about their life.
In conclusion, music is a major part of our life. Without it, we wouldn’t be who we are, we would all probably be boring, plain people that have no feelings or emotions, but since we do have music it creates us, it makes us who we want to be. Whether we like crazy music, sad, happy, exciting, dramatic, classic, or hip-hop were all tied together like a web created by music.

You can always gat to know someone by learning their culture. In our generation, music is a part of our culture. Some people like hip-hop music, others like country music, some may even enjoy classical music. Whatever music you listen to, it’s part of your culture. Basically, I will listen to any music besides rap or country. Yes, I even like classical at times. Generally, I like softer and slower music. My favorite song is Full Moon by The Black Ghosts. Whenever I get stressed, I like to listen to this song. It calms me down and gives me something else to think about for a while. I first heard this song when I was watching the movie Twilight. I was listening to the lyrics, and thought, Wow, this is a really great song. I’ve loved it ever since. The reason I like this song is because it has meaning, a meaning that affects everyone at some point in their life. “Far, far way, no voices sounding, no one around me, and you’re still there.” This is a line from Full Moon. To me, it means no one is gone forever, they will always be with you, or you will always be with them. Someone will always come home.

My partner, Melanie Ririe likes to listen to country music that has meaning. Her favorite song is Just a Dream by Carrie Underwood. It makes Melanie feel love, but also sorrow. This is the chorus of Just a Dream: “Baby why'd you leave me, why’d you have to go? I was counting on forever, now I'll never know. I can't even breathe. It's like I'm looking from a distance, standing in the background. Everybody's saying he's not coming home now. This can't be happening to me. This is just a dream.” When Melanie hears this, she pictures a woman breaking down because her love just died. This song doesn’t remind Melanie of anything specific in her life, but she says, “It’s just hard to lose someone.”
Music can shape and mold you, just as anything around you can. Different personalities like different music. Music is one thing that you can find in common with someone. It can change how you think and feel. Music can control you.

Rhythm and Blues brings my inner me to the outside world. Not very many people know who I actually am and I would like to keep it that way. Because if you let people get close they end up hurting you in the end...mostly. When I'm in a bad mood it puts me in a very good mood. When I hear the song Signed, Sealed, and Deliverd By Steivie Wonder. He is the best musician in the world. He has accomplished what no other person can ever do. He even has a disability. Stevie Wonder is blind. He never gave up on his dream. So when I think about what he has done it gives me a insight about what I'm gonna do in the future. It makes me think if he can do it blind. I can do it.



Ryan Bass.... where to begin he likes rock and roll. Which is very funny to me. Because everytime I see him he is listenig to rap music. His favorite band is AC/DC. The song he likes the most is TNT. It pumps him up. Before he goes to a basketball, football, or baseball game he plugs in his I-pod and listens to TNT. It makes him feel as if he could take on the world. I listened to it after he told me it was his favorite. It really does make you feel like a king. Ryan Bass is one of my closest friends. The kid is hilarious and he doesn't try to be.

Well my music kind of clashes with Ryan's favorite kind of music. Music can be heard in different ways though. People may use it to get pumped for something. Others might use music to help them get over things. Some people might even use music to forget. Music is a wonderful thing in our world. Rhythm and Blues helps me get over things. It puts me in a good mood most the time. Sometimes I just want it to be quiet, so I can think. Ryan's music helps him get in the mood to knock some people on their butts. Music helps so many people out there I know it helps me a whole lot. It explains how I feel. It helps you cope with whatever it is that you are going through. Mostly though people let music make them happy. Music is one of the most important things in the world. Life without music would be really boring. Music is fire.

Chelsea loves music. She enjoys many types of music but she especially fancies musicals because of their simplicity. Even though the notes sung and played may be scrambled all over the musical scale, she finds the particular genre to be easy listening. One of her favorite musicals is Wicked. She loves the story it portrays but she finds love in the music. Chelsea loves the song For Good in particular. She finds it to be a wonderful song because is uplifting yet peaceful and calm all at once. She listens to it when she’s missing someone or she’s simply in a quiet mood. The lyrics make her picture her and her “Besties” hanging out together. When she hears it she reminisces on the summer years ago when she would sing it every day with her older cousin. Her favorite part of the lyrics is at the end of each chorus: “Who can say if I’ve been changed for the better? I have been changed for good.”

Chelsea has a friend named Daryl. Daryl loves music too. Her favorite genres are pop, dance, and country. Her favorite song is Fearless by Taylor Swift. When she hears it playing she feels free and somehow unafraid. She listens to it when she's angry because it makes her feel better about everything. When she hears it she pictures love; enough to take risks and she thinks about happy memories of gymnastics.(Daryl is an excellent gymnast) Her favorite lines are "With you I'd dance in my best dress" and "head-first, fearless."

So why do people love music so much? It is a source of entertainment for many of us. We look, or should I say listen, to it when we need inspiration or maybe just a friend. I believe it's because music takes hold of us and makes us feel how we want to feel. When we're feeling bad about something we find just the right song that we know will cheer us up and we play it over and over again. Music is a beautiful art that enriches our lives.

Could you imagine a world without music? Expecially pop music. Pop music is my favorite type of music out there. Probably my favorite song is Don't Trust Me by 30h!3. Is is so fun to listen to it just puts you in a happy mood when you listen to it. This song remindes me when me, my mom Taryn and my aunt were driving from Georgia to Utah. It is such an amazing song.

My partner Celena's, favorite kind of music is techno. Her favorite song is called Kids by Mgmt. This fantastic song song makes her feel like dancing. If you don't know the song the chorus of it says, take only what you need from me. When she listens to it a funny dude that looks like a kizz fan. She also has a memory from this song it is when her and Marr dancing like crazy people. She loves listening to this song at random times.

Music is so important to me. It helps me calm down when im mad, or when im upset about something. Music also helps me concentrate when im doing my homework. If the world didn't have music my attitude on life would probley be different. If somebody doesn't like music I think they should go to a therapist, but that's just my opinion. Music is my life and probley wouldn't be were i am today. Music says so much about somebody. If there old fashioned or new. Im a little of both, but mostly new.

Hello! My name is Rebecca Ruechel Park and my favorite song is “Wouldn’t it be Good” By Cascada. At least it is my favorite song at the moment, considering my mood or “taste” right now is slow techno. Not that techno can ever really be slow, but its close enough. Some of the lyrics are “Wouldn’t it be good to be in your shoes, the grass is always greener over there.” I believe that this is really how we humans think isn’t? We always think that some other person has a better life then we do, and you want to be in their shoes. Brings back memories of jealousy and self pity, doesn’t it? But it also reminds me that I have to water my lawn to make it green. This song, though at times sad or slow, makes me feel like I have power over my own life and that gives me the feeling of peace. I just have to stop wishing someone else will come along and make my life better when all I have to do is get up and do it myself! And I can water my own lawn as I wish! To me, that is a bonus.

My partner, Analee Meyer, also feels a kind of hope for the future when listening to her song, “No Day but Today”. The lyrics in her song say, “Forget regret, this life is yours to live.” These lyrics come out and say what I had to interpret from my song. Both songs seem to fill us with a kind of peace, as if it’s a warm, soft blanket on a stormy, cold night. Hope, peace, and a sort of mortality is what these songs make us fell like. They make us fell life, or at least what I think life should fell like. We may not have complete control, and that drives us crazy, but we have enough to make our lives go where we want to go. One step at a time.

Music, to tell you the truth, fells like life and emotion running through my veins. Maybe that is why both my partner and I change our music styles when our mood or life changes. If a person’s music is dark or emo, the person most likely feels depressed or enclosed. The same will happen if the person is cheery. You can find out a lot about a person just by knowing their music tastes. Music, from my perspective, is sort of the rhyme or beat of life. Like I said before, about the music running through my veins, when I really like a song, I can just feel it. Music is a way to express how you’re felling, the same as writing. Music, writing, reading, and drawing are ways to give people outlets. Wouldn’t you agree?

My favorite types of muisc to listen to when I'm feeling down is hip-hop and rock. My favorite song since I was a kid is Sanctuary by Utada Hikaru because it is in one of my favorite games and makes me feel better everyday. It's in japanese though so I can't really understand most of it, but it sounds good. It reminds me of hanging with one of my friends at a japanese festival. We had a great time, it was in California and we just met. There were stalls where almost any kind of food was being sold and is one of the first times I tried sushi. I got there in the morning and we met sometime in the afternoon. We hung out and we bought each other things. I bought her a huge fan and she bought me a bunny. Then at night there were fireworks and lots of celebration. I was there for vacation and I only met her for two days.


My partner, Jason Jung, likes the song Apologize remix Lil Wayne because it makes him feel happy and jumpy. He connects it to his life and how it made him feel back in the day, he enjoys hip-hop and is a fan of rap. His remembers his song from his childhood and he connects it to someone he met a long time ago too. He listens to this song to make himself feel better and happier.

this song is my favorite song because a long time ago about 3 , 4 years ago my dad was in a marriage that wasnt good for me nore him. See his wife and i didnt get a long she always got jealous of me because my dad would talk to me and she hated it. She thought everything was about her and if it wasent she throw a fit about it. So every one did what she said when she said except me i didnt like her so of course i didnt respect her she didnt respect me nether so yea thats how it went. Soon I left and moved with my uncle, aunt and four causins up in coaleville we. I was ther for about 6 months. Me and my dad talked but i never said " i love you" to him. Even if her said it to me i would just say ok then hang up it hurt both of us so bad but i told him that until she left i wasnt comen back. After being there for about 2 months later i was listen to the radio and my dad came on and dedicated that son to me "Iam Already There" by LoneStar. I started to cry it ment so much to me. About 4 months later i moved back with my dad and i have sence i love you dad mchawwww.

Now lil about Heather she told me about this song she likes its call Lung Collapsing by Percee P. I personly never heard it but she said its a good song. I asked her how she felt when she listen to it she said " it makes me feel better and gives me a better look at life". Then i asked her when she listen to it the most and she said "I listen to the song most when i am sad or depressed. It makes me feel a lot better and it realeves a lot of stress and saddness. So then i ask if there is a story behind the song to why she likes it so much . " Yea there is one day i was sitten in my room and my friend showed it to me and when i heard it it made me cry it touchs me close ha ha ha!! When listening to Point Of No Return, makes me feel sad for the people who makes bad choices becasue they dont know how to make better ones and it's heart breaking to see your friend or family member never getting out of jail or prison. The words in point of no return are Its a point of no return I can never go back to life without parole shackled and trapped. In this song I have intersting images that come to my mind and they are i see people(teens) getting arrested, put in jail or a dark shaded prision cell with shackles on there bruised and bloody wrists. Have you ever had a disapointing dream about some one you care about? well I have. My dreams are to help the people I care about to help them relinquish his problems that they have saved or are going to make. I like to listen to Immortal Technique and S.P.M. when I have free time, when I am doing my home, or when I get frusterated when i have had a bad day. Because of the whole grave yard theme. Brittany when she listens to this song she has pictures come to her mind and it is a graveyard with two people sitting in it. Brittany listens to Passions Killing Floor when she is bored because the song is an addicting song and after listening to it. Brittany says she cannot get it out of her head.

After writtnig about my music life and brittanys music style. was pretty fun because I learned more about her life and what she likes for music and how Brittany compares her song passions killing floor to Micheal Jackson. we have different stlyes of music. brittany likes pop music and I like rap. Overall we are two different people that like differents things. It is fun to have a friend that you dont have anything in common with, Because it makes your friendship fun to learn about, and the techniques you can learn on how they use there music to do different things. I do agree with brittany on how she likes the beat to her music becuase I like the beat of song or musics. I'am glad I had learned more about brittany just with her music style. As for my life there is one main song of emotion that I feel every single day, No Day But Today. The possibilities of what you can do to improve your life are endless! Life is not to ponder on the past, life is to cherish your memories, and prepare you for the future. The past is gone yet not forgotten, and the future can always wait another day. There is just no day but today. When life brings you down don't give up. What happened has happened. Look back, take a breath then look ahead, and forget regret, because this life is yours to live. Don't just try to fit in, stand out. What people think about you is of no matter, what matters is you. Measure your life in love, because there is no other road, no other way; only no day but today. Keep your thoughts high, every thing else will come around. If you think that there is only this, and that there's only us; you are wrong. It's not the world against you, its you against the world. Stand tall, and be proud of who you are. Yes we all have a rough past, may be rougher than some, or less than others. We have cried, we have scream; but then we come to realize that the past is over with, and there is only No Day But Today.

Rebecca Park, just another average student, or a believer of the beyond? Wouldn't it be good to know what it's like to be in some one else's shoes? The dreams of hope of wonder upon how your life could be as good as others. To step out beyond the surface, to finally be at peace with your life. The very fact that others think that the grass is always greener for some one else. Making drams upon dreams of non existent places. Wouldn't it be good to dream like that? To be endorsed in the existence of memories, more than life. Just to be able to make your self believe that for once, your life could actually better for once. To think, to dream, to live. Wouldn't it be good? Wouldn't it be good!

Music is the the heart of the soul. What we listen to describes us, and our out looks upon life. Just think, Rebecca has an out look of dreams, and wonder. As were I have an out look of facing reality, and living like there is no tomorrow. Now just because these songs are so different, dose not mean that the meanings are completely opposite. It just means that it's okay to dream, it's okay hope, and it's okay to express your feelings. Take today, let go of yesterday, and live for tomorrow. My name is Jordyn Hansen. I haven't had a perfect life. Music has been my passion, my savior. It has always been in my life, and I realize that without music, our generation would not be the same. Ever since I was little, my father would blare music until you had to scream to hear each other while in standing next to them. Later in life, when I could choose what I wanted to listen to, I chose the same kind of music that my father played. I guess that you could say that my favorite genre of music is something like punk rock. I just love the guitar solos, the beat, and the stories that the songs usually tell. When I'm down, music is always there to cheer me up, even when my friends can't. My favorite band is Green Day, for their strongly influential music. I could listen to their music anytime. My favorite song by Green Day is Homecoming/Death of Saint Jimmy/ East 12h Street/Nobody Likes You/Rock and Roll Girlfriend/We're Coming Home Again. I chose this song because it is like a story of a older teenager who has a life that is anything but perfect. I feel that when I listen to this song, it was almost made for me. Every word in the lyrics has some how applied in my life.


While having the privilege to interview one of my friends, Parker, I realized that everyone is very different. His genre of music is almost as different as you can get compared to mine, yet we still get along. His favorite music is more oldies, like the 80's and 90's music. His favorite songs are Going the Distance, and the Superman theme song. When he listens to these two songs, he feels as though he is on top of the world, and is flying. Parker's goal in life is to become a pilot, which makes sense. Parker's favorite time to listen to these are when he is riding his bike, and he can feel the wind in his face, or when he is on a long hike. He loves to just get lost in the music, and relax.


Overall, everyone has a different genre of music. Without music, life would be different for all of us. Best friends can like the total opposite kind of music, but still get along. Music is a strong and influential way to say things. It can tell a story, say "I Love You," it can say "I'm Sorry." There is so many things that music says about someone. I love music, the main types of music I listen to is soft and hard rock and sense I play the piano I will listen to some classical. One of my favorite songs is I Don't Care by Fall Out Boy. i only like some of there songs just saying. I like this song because the song reminds me about how i think.

My Friend Boston is a guitar player and he loves music with all his life. He likes almost all types of music. He dose not like rap,country,death metal and stuff like that. One of his favorite songs is With or Without You by U2. He likes this song because it reminds him about how much he hates his brother but if his brother was gone he would be broad all the time with out him. Boston likes to listen to it when he is relaxing because it is a soft song and it helps him relax. Boston knows a lot about U2 and music so I guess that means this song is a good one.

My name is Mariah Najera. I’m a pretty shy person sometimes, usually just around new people that a barely know, but when I get to know them better I am more wild and crazy more open. Music helps me express my feelings and makes me fell like I can do anything well when I’m listening to happy, fun, crazy music. That normally helps me express me.
Normally when I’m having a hard time or not feeling the best about things and or myself I listen to soft music but it still has to have a beat in it to still have my make me fell better, Things are hard for me in my life and Music is the only thing that gives me a release to all the negative things that have happened and that are still happening to me. When I am mad I usually listen to Rap or hard core rock, I’m mostly listening to it anyways. Well the music I like best would have to be between Hip/Hop, Rock, and Alternative. I like the some rap but not much well unless I’m mad then I listen to it. The best song in the whole world is, One Love by Bob Marley, well it’s the best song to me. It helps me fell like someone of something will make me see different in life and that everything will be alright even when things are bad. It makes me feel delighted in all, makes me feel so wonderful about everyone and everything. It helps me express my in expressing my individually and who I really am and that I can express myself around people, but I seem to care too much about what people think and that’s really nothing to be worried about in the first place, I have realized that I will be hearing my people’s opinion about who that think I am and what I’m here to do and what I really am.
Chelsee's Favriote type of music is rap and Hip/hop her favroite song she said would have to be Point Of No Return. Now the song that she chosse makes her feel sad for people who make bad chosses and she wishes she could do something about it to help them, When she listens to it she gets pictures in her mind about people getting in trouble and never getting out of it. Her deams are the same and yet she lives it everyday. She knows what it feels like to have loved ones in her life that make or has made bad chosses and never getting out of it. Then when she listens to it is when she is bored or when someone in her life has gotten in trouble.
Music has really changed the way I look at life and how I should live it I try my hardest to be the kind of person that can be friends with everyone and not feel so mad and sad about things and Music is my release on many things and hopefully I will learn more as life goes on with the music inspiring me and my life. I think without music I wouldn't be living because its all about what they are trying to tell people in the song its a story, a lesson, a explanation on many things, its advise. Trying to explane things that not even you know can be hard and the people who sing and write the music they might have something on there mind and will express it in a diffrent way. When I'm bored or in the mood I listen to my music on my Ipod to suite my mood. The music I listen to is country, the music that really makes you feel! I don't really have a favorite song they're all great. There are times when I find a really good song and call it my favorite song for about a week, then find another song to call my favorite. For a while that song has been Just a Dream by Carrie Underwood. This song talks about a girl driving to the church to get married to her love who just got back from the war, and when she arrives it's not a wedding but a funeral. Her love died in the war and it talks about her breaking down and asking him why. "Baby why'd you leave me why'd you have to go I was counting on forever now I'll never know". This song has so much meaning and though it's sad i love it! Country music makes you think and feel, music is supposed to make you feel and that's what country music does. I don't think rap could do that for you.


I asked Brittney Golder what kind of music she likes and she said country! She said her favorite song is When the sun goes down by Kenny Chesney. It's ironic how she likes the same kind of music, not very many people like country music at my age. Brittney says she likes this song because it makes her feel peaceful and happy. She says that it helps her get away from her troubles and worries. "When the sun goes down everything is better, when the sun goes down." it reminds her of being on a beach and watching the sun go down across the water, as if it were sinking into the ocean. She says the music makes her think of her family and all the great times they've shared. The biggest reason she listens to this song is because it takes her away from the world and she can relax and listen to her rocken country music.



Both of these songs are really great they make you feel and think or just take you away, and that's what country music is all about. these two songs are classic country music which is great, but sometimes you want to listen to country but your in a rocken mood... what do you do?

My music is always around me. Its when I get home, in the car. The style that surrounds me is Hip Hop. Style of hip hop is alot different from other styles. Music to me is as if you were to start to move your body. The song that moves me the most is Right Round by Akon. This song unlike others just just has a flow unlike others its words that I cant explain. The part that I know is the main lyrics is. My favorite kind of music is country and hip-hop. I listen to music whenever I want or when my mom finally says I can. My favorite song is When the Sun Goes down by: Kenny Chesney. I listen to this song a lot on my ipod. This song makes me feel calm and peaceful. It makes me think of a nice, warm, sunny day at the beach, in Hawii. One of the phrases in the song is "When the sun goes down, over the water, everything gets hotter when the sun goes down." This is one of my favorite phrases out of the whole song because it is so true when the sun goes down everything does get better because you are going to get some rest a wake up to a brand new day. I get a clear image of ocean water hitting the rocks and washing up on shore, the sun setting in the background, a nice peaceful atmosphere. I love to listen to this song at any time of day because it just makes me feel cheerful and happy. I think of my family together having fun at the California beach on one of our family vacations. Another picture I get in my head listening to this song is a nice cool night, with tiki tortches, and hawiian dancers.

I love music!!! Music sets the mood to everything for example when your at a wedding it plays happy, wedding-like music, to set the mood. Different kinds of music set different types of moods for different types of activities. Music can relate so much to the mood you are in or the life you have. Music can take you to a whole new place or planet. If you close your eyes and listen to the song and the lyrics you can picture what is happening in that song. Songs can tell about love, romances, happiness, sadness, death, etc. I could listen to music all day if I could. The song can help you be happy if you are having a dull or depressing day, you just have to pick the right king of music to listen to. I've noticed that you have to pick the right kind of music to listen to that day or you will just not like the song. I could never live without music! The day came when i suddenly grew up. My love for kids' music and games of "house" blew away. I grew up. The things that were once fun are now too young for me. My passion for music grew and got me to where I am today! The song Fearless, by Taylor Swift, describes me and my life. The lyrics speak to me in some way, I can understand what she is trying to say. The phrase " With you I'd dance, in my best dress, fearless," describes the way that the singer loves the person she is with and that she would do anything for or with them. She loves life and doesn't want to let it go too suddenly. The song makes me feel loved and not afraid of anything. I want to love and be loved, just like the song says. Lyrics of fearlessness bring out my gymnast side, they uncover happy memories of gymnastics: competitions, being with my friends. It also brings back bad memories and sometimes encourages me to get back on the " horse," or in this case, beam and try again. It makes me forget about my problems and live the way that I want to. Many other songs are very impacting om my gymnastics career.

The calm and pleasant feeling that the song gives off calls to her and replays memories of her and her best friends singing all of the time. Words intertwined in the song helps her forget about people she misses and when she is quiet or shy, it shows her that she can be bold and brave!


All music, even if it is immodest , has a message or meaning tied into it. whether is is " Drugs are bad," or " be free," all music speaks. Songs about love, usually have words about happiness and love. Songs that are about a break-up or and angry song is normally packed with angry words and sad phrases. The songs that stick out to me are the happy ones, with lyrics about love, freedom, or gladness. The depth of the song "Fearless" is as deep as the ocean. The performer, Taylor Swift, is basically saying that she wants to be brave and not afraid of anything. She wants to be able to kiss the person she loves and not feel ashamed or judged for it.
