Snapshot Moment by Lucy

It was a chilly spring day. It was windy and cloudy. Aweekend of excitement. Friday Natalie, Callie, Silvana, and I, went and saw Hannah Montana the movie! Then we all went to my house. We played inside making music videos from songs off the Hannah Montana the movie soundtrack. Then we went outside playing tag- running around the pool and the tree on the grass then cement. Then we played a fun game of Simon says. After ten minutes of talking, drinking water out of blue glasses through big red straws, we went down stairs to watch a scary movie on the big screen TV. Right after laying out ten layers of blankets to lie on and getting in pajamas Natalie’s phone rang. NO! Her sister was here to take her home. We said our good byes and ran down stairs to start the movie. Thrills and chills filled us as we watched “Sleeping With the Enemy”. It was during the scariest part that we heard a door open and close up stairs. It was okay, just my sister home from work. After “Sleeping With the Enemy” we decided to watch a happy movie like “Hairspray”. It was 12:30 in the morning when we fell asleep during the songs from the movie. We woke to a flash well Callie and I did. The flash came from Silvana and her camera at what? 8:30 in the A.M. to that Callie and I fell back asleep and a little while later so did Silvana. We woke again near ten to my mom coming down stairs with my dog BearBear, waking to BearBear barking! Then we watched some of “Man Vs. Food” then went up stairs for yummy pancakes for breakfast! After breakfast it was time for another scary movie, “Disturbia” sounded good. So we lay on the blankets and watched. After the movie we decided to get ready for the day, well getting dressed up stairs then doing our hair down stairs. Then it was time for “Dance Dance Revolution”! We heated up from that and needed to cool down, and what a way that would be by going to the park. So we walked there. Noticing a WRX Subaru I fell in love with until I heard it then it was a, never mind! Getting to the park we saw that the playground was way to small so we just turned around and headed back to my house. Getting there we went back down stairs for more “Dance Dance Revolution”. Then decided to take pictures. Taking them inside wasn’t working out because of the light so we went outside. Lying down with our heads by each other wasn’t working either. One, because we couldn’t keep our eyes open because of the sun and two, because with one person taking the picture we would only get one maybe two heads in. So I went and got my step dad Zane and amazingly my three pairs of sunglasses, one pair white, one pair purple and one pair green. We picked the pair that would match us most and lay back down. Getting in the right position, a smile, and flash, a memory!

On Friday, April 10, 2009, Lucy Clark, Callie Johnson, Silvana Huerta, and I were absolutely going wild at Lucy’s house. Not to mention that we were jamming out to The Hannah Montana Movie Soundtrack while the house was about to erupt from all the shaking. We were insanely hyper and jumpy and LOUD! The house was blazing hot that we had to get some fresh air and go out back. While we were in the backyard of Lucy’s house we were being just as loud as we were when we were inside. I am happy we didn’t get complaints from her neighbors because it was like 10:30 at night. While outside being barbaric weirdoes we were playing Simon says. Can I just tell you that we had a blast playing that game? Except when Lucy was Simon. She had us go and touch BearBear’s noise. Bearbear is Lucy’s Border collie Labrador brown doggy. Of course I was the first one to get to BearBear’s cute little slimy nose. Any who, we got so bored of playing the little kid game of Simon says we went and started playing hot and Cold with one of BearBear’s toys. But it didn’t really work out because whenever we would hide it and they would search for it, Bearbear would go and stand right by it so they know where it was. It was not cool at all. It was no fun at all with Bearbear giving the answer/ hiding place away so we went to her porch and we took awesome pictures. You are so jealous. When we were taking this picture you could only hear some barking laughter. We could not stop laughing. We also heard the TV going on because Lucy’s mom and stepdad where watching TV. The scariest of all was when we heard the gate and we were screaming every second because we thought it was like the wind. But whatever. We took so many pictures. You can not imagine. After talking billions of pictures we went to her kitchen and sat on her counter and had water in awesome blue cups and with super duper red straws. Oh yeah your jealous. After our butts hurt from sitting so long we went down stairs and we went wild again. When we got downstairs and we got the blankets ready and ran back up stairs and got our pajamas on. Except me though because I couldn’t sleep over. But I was still over for a while. After getting ready we were going to watch a movie that’s called “Sleeping with the Enemy.” I didn’t really get to watch it because I had to go. But I had the best night ever. Our night was long and courageous. We did everything you could possible imagine. That was a G.N.O. That was amazing. Callie, Silvana, Lucy and I need to have a G.N.O. every Friday. Except we need Emily to join us. Because Silvana, Callie, Lucy, Emily, And I are the Fabulous 5!!!!!!!

It was the Dallas Cowboy who happen to be my favorite team playing against the Pittsburgh Steelers. It was the most legendary game of the year the Superbowl. I could feel my heart racing there was so much noise but I could not hear any of it . It was as if the world stood still and I could only focus on the game. I could only feel two things the coldness of my Gatorade and the vibrations from all the people screaming. They were about to hike the ball and everything went silent there was no noise except the sweat coming of the players.

Just a couple of hours earlier the two teams were coming on to the field to play one of the biggest games in their entire life. Each person was cheering for the team hoping they would be the champions for the year. Finally the game had started as the two teams got ready then the ball was kicked off and people screamed it was a thunderous scream through the stadium. Everybody was ready to see a amazing game of football I felt like I was about to go deaf. It was like a nonstop battle between the two teams. I felt as if I was in a roman coliseum waiting for two gladiators to fight. Neither team was willing to give up yardage on the field they both wanted to score so bad. Every team used all of the strategies and secret weapons. But the other team would have a counter play and bring it back. The suspense of who was going to win was tearing me up inside I felt like I was being eaten alive by a swarm of giant beetles.

I had to go pee but my legs would not let me get up and go to the bathroom. It was like I was in a trance I could not think the only thing that was on my mind was the game. My favorite player was really doing good his name was Emmit Smith was running the ball like crazy he is an unstoppable force it took at least two people to take him down. He was stiff arming everyone it was like he was impossible to stop. Troy Aikman knew were to throw the ball who to give the ball to and when to run he knew how to do his job. Together they were unstoppable nobody could keep track of were Aikman was going to throw it and nobody could keep Emmit from getting a first down or even more.

It was the final quarter as the teams lined and up got ready for the hike the crowd went quiet. It was the cowboys ball they lined up Troy Aikman was ready to have the ball handed to him They were down by one field goal but everybody knew they were not going to go for the tie. They hiked the ball and as everybody thought Aikman was going to go for a long pass but he threw a short pass to Emmit and he ran it in for a 10 yard touchdown. The crowd went wild the cowboys won and I could finally go pee.

This picture shows me an athletic doing that can change this sport forever. You can just imagine the enjoyment of basking in the magnificent glory. You can tell this is an important part of history as the crowd cheers and pulls out any camera mediocre are high tech they want a piece of what is happening. You can tell the respect the man has, just by the sound, the crowd roars for the alarming trepidation. You can feel your heart thrashing and pounding for him, your hands slowly sweats in fear of falling and losing your life.

When I look at this picture I think of what happened before the jump. I picture a man giving autographs to his fans just in case of if he live or die, I think of him and his anxiety and worry looking up at the sunburst sky wondering if there will be a tomorrow.

When I look at this picture I like to think of what would happen after the jump I think of a successful young man scoring another point to impress his fan. If you look at this picture without the man there you would think it is impossible but as you look down the ramp you do not want to go your whole body will quiver in fear the end of your life, and your life passes by fast as if it was a dream. It seems fast but lasts along time.

Looking at the fans point of view you would think about saying stop being a chicken and push. Imagine if you were him under all that pressure doing something for impatient eager fans. Also think about his family trying to tell him it is not worth risking life, His mom watching the event regretfully there is not much to say because every mother is worried for her son risking her life.
Think of the Chinese men saying what an idiot he thinks he can make it but yet china is not to fond of this sport they hardly know what it is.

If I was as good as this man I would have to try I would hate to set all that up for a wimp that is to chicken to try anything. You can tell the dedication how the man took there time to set this up in such a random place. It is like he is a king when he tells his pauper to dance he will dance tell him to fetch he will fetch.

My friends favorite kind of music is all kinds as long as it’s not country her favorite song

See her with a big smile on her face. Some of the words are: cuzs it you and me and all of the people
With nothing to say. When she listens to it pictures of her and a guy singing a duet (his idea)
There are memories happy ones. she listens to this song anytime of the day

I Chosen this picture because I love to learn about Native American and I have learn more tribes name history and life style then most people will ever know. My grandmother live on a reservation and she is Bannock and so am I. I am not sure what tribe this is but it looks like an Apache. But it’s just a guess and this picture is of a man riding in to battle with his men. This is what I see a man leading his men into battle riding horse running with a dust storm. I hear the thunder as the horse run men with their war cry flying throe the sky’s like an eagle. I taste the desert sand & dirt in the air. I smell the gun

powder going in to the air the horse and men sweating in the desert sun. I feel as the ground move out from under my feet as the roar of free horsemen riding in to battle. the main thing why I chose this because one of my favorite thing to learn about my forefathers and the other tribes forefathers is how they fight, wars, and wean head off in to war they don’t think not I am going to die they have all ways said they will die at my feet, I will cut off their head and this picture is the very same way as they would look. If they fight for freedom, land, or even revenge, it would be a fight to remember. The one thing the Native American were known for is there cyclonical warfare and they still are to day
I know this is not 500 words but I can not think of 500 words for the life of me oh this mite help the picture name challenger

Snapshot Moment By: Kylee Kieffer

Snap Shot!

Before this photo:

Kylee:" Millie lets go walk around"

Millie: " OK, lets get ready"

Me and my Friend Camille were at home waiting for another friend. We both got ready and did each others hair and make up. We looked fabulous. We started too walk down he windy road and stopped as we started to take pictures. I was very angry with the wind that day because I had like thee straightest hair ever and it looked really cute. The wind of course had messed that up. I had to laugh though because the whole thing was totally hilarious. My head turned toward Camille and I took my phone out and pressed the button. Snap! I took it. The picture was amazing. We looked great and the ruff wind blowing actually made it look better. The other great thing about it, is that we matched. I had a bright white tank on and she had a midnight black one. I had a ruffled black over thing and she had a long white shirt on. The whole time we were walking we talked about how funny it was that we accidentally matched. The other amazing thing was is my Hair's brilliant blonde, hers is like shadow black. We looked like twinners! After this we went to Beans & Brews and got frozen mocha's. This was a GIANT mistake. We went to toys R Us and I ran into a poll and spilt the coffee all
over every where. It was even on me! I booked it out of the store as fast as I could run on my short little legs. I ran all the way home. When I got home I was mad. I had coffee all down my Shivering body. I changed my clothes and got ready too get picked up in the bright red Camaro too have a extremely fun time at Sassie's that night. We had awesome plans. The Camero got there and picked us up. I sat in the car at waited for the bofing ride to beover. This day was the bomb!!! I could have gone with out the coffee spill, but other than that I really enjoyed it!
