Rafting the Colorado River By Crson Knight

My Great grandpa was an amazing man His name was big frank he had muscles the size of mountains he was going to the most challenging thing a man could raft the Colorado River it was so intimidating that only twelve of his best friends came on the periling journey
This is the story of life at home he was a sheriff in a small town named vernal he had the biggest hands in the world and he was very brave and proud of how he was raised through his life he was the greatest sheriff they ever had and he was proud of that title one night there was a tussle in a bar down the street so he took his smith and wesson revolver to the tussle there was a man dead on the ground when he looked through the window he bust through the bar doors and came up to the man with the smoking gun in his hand he was a friend of his the man had two other friends with him the man said get him the two men charged frank one man he punched in the face and the other one gave up right there he went up to the man with the gun and said you might want to give up the man started crying and said I am sorry frank said I’m sorry to but I still have to take you to jail
After that he came home and he said to his wife and son I have to get away from it all so I am going to go rafting on the Colorado river to make history he took 12 of his best friends they started of at a lode at the top of the river got some sleep the next day he was on his journey to make history
The first day was the easiest day of all there were no rapids they were started on there first day of not seeing another human the second day was very hard they wrecked one of there rafts because the waves were as high as a tsunamis so they had to get it out of the water so none of the other boats behind would crash on the wreak in front
The fourth day they ran into the worst rapids in the world and it was the most periling day in there life 5 of there 10 boats wreaked and it took them two days to get all the boats out of the water it was so hard that all the men had to contribute farther down the river when all of the boats were fixed they were headed to a place in the river where it was straight up and down cliffs the doctor that they had with them is crazy and he found a skull of a man who died on the cliff of dehydration
There last day and they finally get home to there family’s

Fun story! It is clear you understand the idea of folklore and hyperbole! I enjoyed reading your memoir.

p.s. Be careful with your punctuation:).
