A pictue with the family-Snapshot- By Jonny Hummer

Five to eight years ago my parents decided we should get a family picture that we could hang in out living room. Well at the time we lived in our old house in Draper so we drove down here to Murray Park. You know how they have that small little pond there. Our family got our picture taken there. Then there is that small rock cliff just off to the person taking the pictures left. Right there is a small rock that we took the picture at. Of course me and my little brother were like five and younger so we hated having to get dressed in some nicer clothes and we hated it we did. But any way we dealt with it and we got in the car. Well when you are younger you know how cool it is to see ducks right? So over at Murray Park they have ducks and lots of ducks so my brother and I thought was the coolest thing we had ever seen. So my parents had brought some bread because they knew we would want to feed them and so we did and man did we love it. One thing that really brings back just a ton of memories is the canopy of trees hanging over us and shadows scattered across the ground. It was during the best part of day when the sun is going down and it looks like a child’s finger painting, colors just randomly placed from red to purple. As my parents made us stand there moving us around trying to get us in a good place for us all to stand and take a picture at. We ended up picking a fake rock at the end of the park it was a good sized rock and we all we all had some part of us touching the rock a foot or sitting on it etc. Well we took quite a few pictures of us on that rock. Now when ever we go to that park and that rock we look at it and laugh it brings back great memories.
My brothers remember having that picture being taken to and it has always been there favorite. We all love going to that rock and playing on it and talking about it. When the picture was taken I remember was sick was throwing up all day etc. So were just hoping he would be fine just for the rest of the day. Luckily he did fine and we got home with no problems and he loved that day even though he was sick and one of the worst days of his life. My other brother was pretty happy that day I remember him carrying me around the park and feeding the ducks with me and my younger brother. My brother also got a duck to come right up to me and I fed it out of my hand. As you can guess at first a small kid probably thought that duck would eat you like any other food. As I got courage to go up and feed it from my hand. That is when I noticed that ducks are nothing to fear. But any way in the picture I remember all my family was in it my mom, dad, and my 3 other brothers. Right after we took that picture I remember going to MacDonald's! My family never goes out to eat so it was a huge thing to being going to fast food. They all love that picture but for sure it is my favorite of all the pictures in the entire world!
