This is the Story of a girl-Familt folklore-Andrea Jolly

“What a time it was.”

December 21, 1963. The day my very own mother was born. That day was the day my grandmother could tell it was going to be a very enjoyable story to tell. The story began like any other story. A family and their wishes. My mother was third oldest of the family, there was six children totally.

She was a beautiful young woman when she was in high school. She was popular because of her older sister, whom was gorgeous at that time. My mom was on the drill team and was a very smart woman. But, when on a spring break she meet my father. She was a groovy young man. He was born in June 9, 1954. (Yes, he has the same birthday as Johnny Depp, the cutest actor ever!)

They later got married in my grandparents back yard in Price, Utah. They had been married for a couple years when my older sister was born. She was a bleach blonde baby. Her birthday was in October. The 15th actually, in 1988.

“Here’s were the story begins.”

They were a very happy three some. They had so much fun together. They lived in California for only a year or two when my sister was born. (She’s so lucky, my older sister was born in California. She’s a Californian baby!) Anyways the they moved back to Utah were everyone in my family lives.

A couple years later Megan was six and my mother was pregnant again with me! Yeah, I'm so amazing. I was born in October, 1994. My life seemed great for a year and a half. But everyone has something they have to have at some time. My little sister began living in my moms tummy. That little angel was born in May, 1996. We're eighteen months apart.

We built a house able to with stand a a family of five. We had wanted a pet. Well, the oldest wanted a pet really bad. One day we ended up getting a beautiful puppy. He was a black Shepperd! Adorable, lovable, and the cutest little dog ever! His name was Max. We had him for three or four years. He was a great dog. He enjoyed us all. One day my father was calling for my little sister, she was playing and seemed to be ignoring my father. But the thing was she had no clue he was talking to her!

My parents took her to the doctors. They said she had gone deaf. She was only two years old. She went in for surgery, it was the saddest day for our family. She had come home after getting a Cokule implant that would help her hear. The doctors said it was maybe caused by the dog barking in her ear at times. We weren't sure. I won't ever be able to see the look on my mother face, the day my little sister got home from surgery!

We lived there for a while and one day the not-want-to-think-about-happening happened.
My little sister had let the dog out of the backyard on a Saturda. He ran all the way to the busy street down the street. She followed. My dad had caught up to her before she and the dog crossed the street! That day Max was sent away to the Humane Society. We didn't see him again.

A couple birthdays later, my dad had gotten my mom a fish tank fro her birthday. We went to Pets-Mart that night looking for fish. My older sister and I had wondered to the cat section. There we saw him, the cutest cat ever. We could tell he was lonely and he was so adorable. He was maybe one or two years old we got him. After an hour of convincing my mother he was needed. His name was Lorenzo. It was Italian! (we still have today)

A couple years went by and we moved. We moved out of Curns, Ut. We moved closer east by the mountains. We lived in a small but nice house. That was the house we were in when 9/11 happened. I remember the whole day. It had to have been to most depressing week for ever I talked to. It was a terrible day.

We maybe lived there for one more year then we moved to Arizona. We had lived there for four years at the most. We moved three times while living there. My father left us one day while we were at home on a Saturday. He hated what he was doing but he knew he had to leave you could see it in his eyes. He was a terrible alcoholic!

We moved back to Utah. I was eleven years old when I started going to a small elementary schools back by our last house we lived in, in Utah. It was a strange school but I liked it. It was different then other schools I'd been to. It was a cool school, it had a Skate Park in front of the school. That house I lived in was the first house that had been a town house! It was different but fun. We lived there maybe a year.

Back in Arizona, while we were in the middle of moving one of our dogs we had bought had run away. I still had my dog Hannah she was a puppy who had been abandon in an intersection. We bought her from a lady who put an add for Hannah in the newspaper. She was my dog! Her name was Honey at first but it didn't fit. Hannah was what was meant for her.

We still have Hannah and she's still mine. I'm going to skip a couple chapters of my life. I assure you it is nothing important. Just my dad bouncing in and out of our lives. But now to this day. We have two dogs. One is Hannah the other Harley he was a cutey we got for free on Christmas day. He was a Cocker Spaniel.

Hannah is a German Shepherd mix of a Beagle. I go to Hillcrest and have many friends. My family still is made up of us four girls. My mom, my older sister whom is twenty years old now, my little sister who is twelve, and me. We still have our little pimp cat, Lorenzo. Our family is still the best i could wish for! I love my family!
