Snapshot Moment Memoir Disneyland memories by: Emma Kjar

It was February 2008. Our family had planned a vacation to go Disneyland over presidents day weekend. We had already been there for about 4 days and this was going to be the last day in California. All the sisters wanted to ride the Matterhorn for one last time and then go to California Adventure to ride some rides there. It was finally our turn to sit down in the ride and we were very excited. When We got all situated with my sister in the back, my sitting in her lap, and then my other sister in the seat in front of us, we just had to wait for our car to start up the mountain for the ride to begin.
My sister in front, Sarah, decided while we waited we should take a picture. She held it up high so we could all fit in it and clicked the button. The flash went off and we were about to look at it when we all the sudden heard the loud “clicking” of our car heading up the “mountain” and that’s when we knew the ride was starting. Sarah quickly put her camera away so it would fly out of her hands while the ride was going. We had an amazing time on the ride and this picture brings back way too many amazing memories!!!
