My Snapshot Story
This picture is very precious to me. It’s all my friends together, for mine and Mariah’s birthday party. I, Mariah, Mia, Leticia, Christian, Sam and Mariah’s grandparents were at Mariah’s house for the party. There were decorations everywhere. Rainbow streamers-Mine and Mariah’s favorite colors-, Balloons, mostly red, blue and purple. The table had a white and blue tablecloth and a bunch of party things like plates and cups. Underneath the table were present for us from all the family, the colorful wrapping paper and shiny bows were mesmerizing.
The first thing we did was eat dinner. Mariah’s grandma is a great cook, and made us a bunch of food. At first we had spaghetti, then we had some fruit like grapes watermelon and peaches. After we had like a bunch of soda. But the best part was the cake. It was a dull blue color and on the top were balloons. We ate almost all of it then went out side to play. Mariah has a trampoline in her back yard so we played there. We jumped, played, tackled, and bounced. Mariah turned on some music while I and mia tried to teach Leticia how to do a front flip on the trampoline. As the party came to an end- or so we thought we went inside to open presents.
Mariah got a bunch of stuff. The first present she got a new c.d. player to replace the old one she broke in P.E. class, when she dropped it. The next was a pair of red skinny jeans that she’s been wanting forever, but had no money to get. The third one was some cds of her favorite bands, Metro Station, Boys like Girls, Evanescence, and My Chemical Romance. She got many more presents. Clothes, Toys, Books, and a bunch of other stuff. By the end of the party everyone was so tired we just had a sleepover. When we got to her room we played a bunch of games. Cards, truth or dare, hide and seek, and also watched TV. The next morning he room cooked us breakfast. We had pancakes, sausage and toast. Finally it was time to go home. But before we did we all went to the trampoline- which was covered in streamers and stuff and took a picture. We were still on in our pajamas, and no make up on, our hair crazy, but I kept the picture anyway to remember the fun time of that day. The party may sound childish and for a 5 year old but it was the best 13th birthday party ever
