Getting to Know You By: Devin Bryner

My song is called Life is a Highway by Rascal Flatts. This song is important to me because it is inspires me. It says that if there's a long road ahead, to keep going and to never stop. This song helps me because it makes me feel happy and because the song is fast and exciting. I relate to this song because it is a song I really like and one my mom listened to when she was a kid.
I interviewed Joe Isaacson about his song Dance Dance. He chose it because it was a song he remembered the name of and because it helps him sleep. He likes the chorus of the song because he likes the tune of it. It makes him think of his friend because he fist heard it on his friend's iPod. He's not sure why, but it makes him feel tired and hungry when he listens to it. It is by the Fall Out Boys, but he doesn't know what genre it is.
In conclusion, we both like our songs, although they aren't much alike. One thing that is alike about them is that they both have people who like them. The genre might be the same or it might be different, but neither of us know what the genre of our song is. One thing different about them is that Joe's song makes him feel tired, and my song helps to keep me awake and energetic. Even though we like our songs for different reasons, we both really like them.
