Family Folklore by Dalton Moller

The words that travel down the generations is like the leaves in the wind, the words of the notorious Dalton Gang the most vicious evil out laws of the 1880's they were so mean if a angry diamond back rattle snake crossed there path it would be shaking his rattle in fear not anger and after they look at it with no pity it would just roll over and die right then and there, see my mothers madden name is Dalton and she named me that for that same reason she likes that name, so I’m there probably there great great great grandson or something like that and so here is there story.

As the oldest brother grew up the was a deputy and as he was tracking a theft in Oklahoma like a dog tracking there freshly buried bone, after the found the man there was a shoot off and he died. So as the younger three brothers grew up they were on the other side of the law, fist there was Gratton Dalton but he goes by Grat, Bob Dalton, and Emmett Dalton and soon formed a gang for the gang they recruited Geoge Newcome, Charely Pierce, Charlie Bryand, Bill Doolin, Dick Broadwell, and Bill Powers these men robed train after bank after train they were so good they almost took all the money in the whole world, so skilled they could steel the butter from the fly and then put it back together.

As they roamed the land they had a dream of robbing two banks at the same time, the plan was so foolish all the outlaws of the west would have gathered around and all died from laughing, well they tried it and boy did it fail, all the towns people rushed home only to return with their guns there was a huge shoot off and every one died in a great explosion of gun shots and everyone died with a thud to the ground and the Dalton Gang could never to rob a bank again.
